    I am using the tip board, my genie to plan our parks days next week. When selecting our top choices for each day in preparation for our upcoming trip, should my friends and family that are linked be able to see those selections on their app as well? I

    Hello Jason, thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! 

    Your Tip Board is divided into two tabs, “Attractions & Shows” and “Dining.” “Attractions & Shows” will display the current estimated wait times and available Lightning Lanes for each attraction, while the “Dining” tab will show you the Reservation and Mobile Order availability at the dining locations in your current theme park. You can personalize your Tip Board by making your top pick selections for Attractions, Entertainment, Dining, and Enchanting Extras. The Tip Board page is individualized to your selections and is not shared with other guests. 

    When you book Lightning Lane selections, dining reservations, or select an entertainment offering to be added to your schedule, it will appear on your My Day page. If you are connected to your travel party through your Family & Friends List, it will appear on their My Day page if they are on the reservation or if you have chosen to share “All My Plans” with them.  If they are not linked to the plan, it will have a note that states “This is a plan one of your family members or friends made and you may not be a part of it.” If you purchase an Individual Lightning Lane or make a Lightning Lane selection through the Disney Genie+ Service, any guests you select in your party will also see the Lightning Lane selection on their My Day page. As a reminder, each guest must purchase Disney Genie+ Service and/or Individual Lightning Lane access. Prices vary each day and can be found on the Tip Board page or on the main page of the My Disney Experience mobile app. 

    To make sure your immediate travel party can see each other’s plans, click on the three horizontal bars in the bottom right of your My Disney Experience mobile app and scroll down to “My Profile.” Select “Family & Friends List” and find the guests you are traveling with. When you click their name, you can choose to share “All My Plans” or “Only Plans We Share.”

    The My Day page will show your scheduled plans, as well as recommended attractions and dining options based on the interests you selected, ideal times to go, and where you are in the theme park. An extra tip, you can click on the three dots in the upper right of the recommendation and choose to swap a recommendation for a new one, get directions to that experience, remove the recommendation, or mark it as something you did so it can be removed to make room for new recommendations. Disney Genie Service truly has phenomenal cosmic powers within the My Disney Experience mobile app!
