Using tickets to get in park. I have purchased our tickets. We will be arriving in Orlando on June 1st and would like to go to park on June 2nd. Why can't we make our Fast Pass arrangements today May 3rd. We have resort reservations for 6/3-4

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Laurie!

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation will be here in less than a month! In only a matter of weeks, you’ll be seeing your favorite characters, tasting the tastiest treats, and feeling the magic as you walk right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. and I’m so excited for you!

I’m sorry you had trouble making your FastPass+ selections. You mention that you have resort reservations on June 3 and 4, and one of the many awesome benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel is that Guests are able to make their FastPass+ selections as early as 60 days before their check-in date for the length of their stay. If you’ll be staying at non-Disney hotel, you can make your FastPass+ selections 30 days in advance of your visit – and that means you should have been able to make reservations for June 3 on May 4, and June 4 on May 5.

Laurie, I know you purchased tickets, but have you linked them to your My Disney Experience account? You’ll need to do that before you can make FastPass+ selections. To link the tickets, login to My Disney Experience and select “My Plans” from the menu. Then, hover over “Park Tickets” and select “Link Tickets.” From there, you’ll follow the steps to link your tickets to your account and assign them to any Guests with whom you’ll be traveling. Once your tickets are linked, go to FastPass+ to begin making your selections. If you encounter any issues, I highly recommend contacting the My Disney Experience Cast Members at (407) 939-4357 – they have magical powers and can get everything all set so you can focus on the fun part!

Have so much fun counting down the days, and be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news about new experiences and (my favorite) yummy snacks and drinks for you to taste-test this June. We’re here for you if you have any further questions. Let the magic begin!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
