I am using Southwest Airlines and staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Then I heard Southwest doesn't participate with Magical Express? What do I do when leaving the resort??

Disney's Magical Express (DME) and Resort Airline Check-In  (RAC) are two services.

All WDW resort guests arriving the Orlando International Airport may reserve Magical Express and use the luggage service. Departing guests can only use the RAC as well as the luggage transfer if they are flying out on a participating airline.

    1. Reserve DME.
    2. Luggage tags should arrive approx. 3 weeks prior to your trip.
    3. Affix the tags ONLY to the bags that you are checking and sending through to your resort.
    4. Arrive the airport and check-in your luggage.
    5. In Orlando, head to the Welcome Center where you will be assigned a bus.

Some guests prefer to pick up their luggage at Baggage Claim, then proceed to the Welcome Center. For this option, make sure to skip step 3.

Southwest passengers can check-in up to 24 hours prior to departure by visiting the resort's Front Desk. I also have them print my boarding pass.

    1. Call Bell Services to store your bags (if you have a later flight) or take them directly to the bus stop.
    2. Go to the DME stop at the pre-assigned time (info will arrive your hotel room before your departure).  You will need to have your bags with you or have Bell Services retrieve them prior to your pick up time.
    3. The driver will load your bags in the cargo area and you will board the bus.
    4. At the airport, your bags will be unloaded and you will proceed with them to the Southwest check-in area. It's automated. There are also agents there to help.

For guests flying on a participating airline, you have the option of checking in any time from 5 a.m. until 1 p.m. at your Resort Airline Check-In desk. You will receive your boarding passes if you do not have them already. You can also check your luggage at this time and you won't see your bags until you arrive your home airport.
