    I will be using my smart phone for the first time in the parks. I will need to recharge at some point during the day. Where are the charging stations located in each park and will they have cords for all the newest phones? Thanks for sharing your knowledge

    Thank you so much for stopping by!  You've asked such a great question!  So many of us are using our smart phones frequently in the parks today, that a dead battery is going to happen sooner or later!

    Walt Disney World has recently installed some charging areas for guests in need of a 'boost.'  One of the greatest spots is located near the "Tangled" restroom area in New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom.  You'll find lots of plugs, and places to sit and rest while you charge up.  Do keep in mind that you'll need to bring your cord with you, as they are not provided.  

    You can also find charging stations at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe (the Fantasyland side entrance), and Tomorrowland Light and Power Company (gift shop at exit of Space Mountain).  If you're unable to find these areas, just ask a friendly Cast Member for assistance.  Also, keep in mind that you can drop your phone off at Guest Services (with your cord) at any of the parks for a quick charge.  

    I'll also suggest an external battery pack.  I was able to get one off of Amazon for about $30.  Ours will completely charge a device several times, and it is so convenient to carry around in your bag.  I charge our overnight every few days in our room, and then it is ready to go the next morning!
