When using a single day ticket at any WDW park, are we able to leave and take a break, and re-enter the same park again later that day?

    Hi Christine,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're always happy to help as you plan your days at Walt Disney World.

With any base ticket (one without the parkhopper option), you can exit and re-enter the same park throughout the day if you wish. So feel free to:

-- Take the bus from Animal Kingdom back to your resort for an afternoon swim or a nap.
-- Ride the Disney Skyliner from Hollywood Studios to Caribbean Beach for an early dinner at Sebastian's Bistro.
-- Walk from the International Gateway of Epcot to the Boardwalk for an ice cream cone at Ample Hills Creamery
-- Ride the monorail from Magic Kingdom to the Polynesian Village Resort for a tropical beverage at the Tambu Lounge.

If you drive yourself from offsite and pay to park, you can even move your car and return without paying the fee again. Just be sure to keep your receipt.

Sometimes my family likes to leave the park for a little while just to relax and rest our feet in the comfy lobby of a nearby resort hotel. It doesn't involve a lot of travel time but gives us a chance to recharge.

I hope that's helpful, Christine. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you make your itinerary for your upcoming vacation. Enjoy!
