Hi Linda, and welcome back to planDisney! I love a good rope drop to fireworks kind of day. So I’d be happy to chat about keeping your
Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) charged while you’re at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT!
Many ECVs use standard electrical outlets, so you’ll find many places throughout both theme parks to charge your scooter. While I’m not an ECV user, I do frequently work remotely from Disney World and am always looking for spots to charge my laptop. At Magic Kingdom, I love the outlets near the Rapunzel-themed bathrooms between
Haunted Mansion and
"it’s a small world." They’re hidden in faux tree stumps! While you’re there, don’t forget to look for all of the Pascals hidden around the outside of the bathrooms! Over in EPCOT, you’ll find many outlets in and around
Connections Eatery (and it’s also a great spot to escape the heat!).
And when in doubt, don’t hesitate to ask a Cast Member when you need to charge. They can always direct you to the nearest outlet.
In case it’s helpful, there’s a
page on the Disney World website dedicated to guests with mobility needs. It has information on everything from disability parking to experiencing attractions with a mobility device.
As you get ready for your visit, I’d recommend thinking about a decoration or two for your scooter! You’ll find lots of fellow ECV users at Disney World, and adding a little flair can help you locate your scooter in the parks.
I hope you have the most magical time at Disney World next month! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
