If I am using the salute military tickets as a spouse, can I show them a color copy of my ID?

Hi there, Brittany! Welcome to planDisney!

First, let me truly thank you for your service. As a military spouse, I know that service members and their families understand the meaning of commitment and sacrifice. To me, there's nothing more important than quality time and I can't think of a better place to spend that time together than at Walt Disney World Resort!

Brittany, Eligible Service Members are active and retired members of the military, their spouses, and disabled veterans. Walt Disney World Resort loves to salute its military families with Special Offers on both select hotels and tickets! To check on any military rates available at Disney Resort hotels, all you need to do is call a Cast Member at (407) 939-7830 and they will be happy to help you with your options. Military Salute Tickets can be purchased at your local base or through Shades of Green. Personally, we like to order our tickets through Shades of Green because they arrive activated and ready to be used. If you purchase your tickets through your base, you'll want to make sure you activate those tickets at Guest Relations prior to entering your first park or at Guest Relations in Disney Springs the day before your visit! No matter which way you secure your tickets, make sure you've linked your tickets to your account and made your Theme Park Reservations using the Disney Park Pass system. This is important to reserve the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip!

When looking at the Important Details with these Special Offers, it states that Eligible Service Members (or their spouses) will need to present valid and active US Military IDs and a photocopy of your ID is not recommended. However, if you have a special circumstance that would benefit from speaking with a Cast Member directly, I would reach out and call! My best piece of advice would be to call right at 7:00 AM EST when phone lines open since Cast Members' help can sometimes be in high demand.

Prior to your trip, I'd also suggest taking some time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app! A little like your own magic wand, you'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even mobile order food. This way, you know your meals and snacks will be ready and waiting for you right when you want them!

I hope I was able to help you with your question today, Brittany. If anything else pops up, please visit us again! After all, you've got a friend in me.

    See ya real soon!
