Hi, there!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Elizabeth. The
Walt Disney World Resort vacation you're planning with your family is going to be so magical!
I'm so glad you know about
Disney's Rider Switch Service. It's such a fantastic feature for families traveling with little ones! I'm happy to answer your question about using Rider Switch during your upcoming visit.
If you have requested to use Rider Switch, you'll be given a Rider Switch Pass to hold on to while your husband and 6-year old ride. When your husband and 6-year old exit the attraction, you can use the Rider Switch Pass to ride, and your 6-year old is welcome to join you. The Rider Switch Pass allows you to bring a Guest, so that lucky 6-year old of yours will get to ride twice!
One of our favorite places to use Disney's Rider Switch is
Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom Park. The Laughin' Place is a little play area near the exit of Splash Mountain, and it's the perfect spot for little ones to explore while families take turns following Br'er Rabbit through Chick-A-Pin Hill!
Elizabeth, are you familiar with the
Baby Care Centers? There's a conveniently located Baby Care Center in each of the four theme parks, and you'll find just about everything you need there to make traveling with your 1-year old a breeze!
I hope I've answered your question. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have!
