Using the quick service plan for 7 nights in Sept. but I 'm confused. It says we may have a choice of entrée or combo meal. To my mind, a combo includes drink and dessert but for the entrée, do we need to use up snack credits to complete the meal

    Hi, Mark!

    Great question!

Guests on the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan are entitled to an entree, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage at both lunch and dinner (no dessert at breakfast). The reason that Disney includes "or combo meal" is because some many locations will pool together a great combination, such as a sandwich, salad and fountain drink; this would what you are entitled to at that location. Other locations, such as my favorite QS, Wolfgang Puck Express at Downtown Disney's Marketplace, might offer Guests a delicious wood stone oven pizza (BBQ Chicken is our favorite) of Chicken Alfredo (with cavatappi, bacon, baby peas and parmesan...yum...). Neither of these items comes with a side dish, so that is the "entree" to which you are entitled. You'll still get a non-alcoholic beverage and dessert there as well.

No need to use up your snack credits for any meal, Mark; save those for a carrot cake cookie or a jalapeno cheese-stuffed soft pretzel between meals. ;-)

Send more questions as you plan your use of that great Quick Service Dining Plan, Mark; I'd love to help you scout out the best QS and snacks throughout Walt Disney World!
