When using the quick service dining plan, can I change the drink for a dessert if ordering a quick service meal?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mayren!

I really love using the Disney Dining Plan when I'm on vacation, and one of the reasons I keep coming back to it is because it's super flexible. My family is able to pick pretty much whatever we want to eat and pay quickly and easily using a Dining Plan credit by just tapping our MagicBands

We also love that there are some tips, tricks, and hacks to help everyone get what they want, and swapping out a drink for a dessert at a Quick-Service dining location is one of the ways that you can make the Dining Plan work better for you. This tip works at most Quick-Service restaurants, but make sure to check with the Cast Member serving you when you're placing your order. My family loves using this Dining Plan hack when we're eating at the Quick-Service location at our Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Our drinks are already taken care of because we have our resort refillable mugs with us, so we like to ask if we can choose a dessert instead, and I always like to try what's unique at each Resort Hotel! One of my favorite desserts is the Tie-dye Cheesecake from Everything POP Shopping & Dining at Disney's Pop Century Resort, so be sure to try that if you're staying there.

    Have a magical day, Mayren!
