Using a park hopper, can I re-enter a park I have visited? IE started at Magic Kingdom, went to Animal Kingdom, return to Magic Kingdom.

Hey, howdy, hey, Michael! I'm glad you hopped on over to planDisney!

There’s nothing better than packing as much magic as possible into a Walt Disney World day! I’m a big fan of fitting multiple parks into one adventure too. Let’s jump right into your question, and I’ll share a few things to keep in mind as you map out your day.

The quick answer is YES! With a Park Hopper ticket, you can visit as many theme parks as you'd like in a single day. I’ve tackled all four parks in one day a few times, and let me tell you, it’s a wild ride from rope drop to fireworks!

Starting around 10:00 AM, Disney bus transportation between the theme parks begins. You could enjoy your morning at Magic Kingdom, bounce over to my favorite Walt Disney World theme park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and then head back to Magic Kingdom when you're finished. And while you're at Animal Kingdom, don’t skip Kilimanjaro Safaris! I’d happily ride that one on repeat all day if I could. You never know which animals will decide to steal the show!

A couple of things to keep in mind while planning your park-hopping adventure. The bus ride between Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom takes about 20 minutes, and there can sometimes be a wait for transportation. If you have a dining reservation or want to be in a specific park at a certain time, I’d plan for at least 45 minutes of travel time just to give yourself a comfortable cushion.

You'll also want to remember that park entry is subject to capacity. Even if you've already entered Magic Kingdom earlier in the day, if the park reaches capacity later on, you may need to wait until space becomes available before re-entering.

Michael, your July visit is just around the corner! I know you're going to have a fantastic time. One last tip: summer in Florida likes to turn up the heat! When I visited last summer, I was thankful that quick-service locations provide complimentary cups of ice water throughout the day. Be sure to stay hydrated, and don't be shy about splashing into a water attraction when you need a little break from the sunshine. Consider it your daily dose of "otter" relief from the summer heat!
