Using parents extra week of their timeshare for a free week in Orlando in a nondisney hotel (Score!). We have always had the dining plan, never been to disney without it. Can you give some money saving tips to eating (kids ages2 and 5) in Hollywood

Hi Jody - I think your question got cut off for a bit, so I'll do my best to answer it.  Without the dining plan, I'd suggest that you bring your own snacks into the park.  Walt Disney World is very accommodating to guests bringing their own food into the parks - but glass bottles and rolling coolers are not permitted.  I'd bring waters, and perhaps cereal bars and raisins for snack items.

In addition, consider eating meals at buffet or all you care to eat restaurants, such as the Hollywood and Vine, Crystal Palace, Tusker House, and the Garden Grill.  If you fill up at those restaurants, you can have a lighter meal for lunch or dinner.

    Have a great vacation!
