When you are using mobile order for meals, can I charge to my room if I am staying on site?

    Hi Brandi!

Welcome back to planDisney!  I'm so happy to see that you've trusted us as you have planned this upcoming trip and now, as my friend Princess Tiana would say, you're Almost There!  If you're looking for any fun countdown ideas for these final weeks leading up to your visit, you may want to check out a recent planDisney Podcast episode where my friends Lizzie and Diane share some creative activities!

Brandi, Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering is one of my favorite tips to share with Guests as they are planning their visit.  When we're busy enjoying all of the rides, attractions, and entertainment available in the parks, I don't want to take the time to wait in what can sometimes be lengthy Quick-Service ordering lines.  If you know where you want to dine, you can place your order earlier in the day for a later return time, or you can be a bit more spontaneous and place an order when you see a restaurant you'd like to try by choosing the next available return time for your food.

When it comes time to pay for your mobile order, you'll have several options.  While you can't charge your mobile order to your room through the app, you can charge to a saved credit or debit card connected to your My Disney Experience account.  You can also use a Disney Gift Card or Disney Rewards Redemption Card to pay for your meals.  At this time, you are unable to store Disney Gift Card information in your account so I like to type my gift card information in a note on my phone and then cut and paste the numbers when I'm ready to pay.  If you have one of the dining plans, you'll also have the option to redeem those meals or snacks for available items in your order.

Brandi, before I go, I'd like to share a few of my favorite mobile order spots and delicious options you may want to try during your visit!

    • Magic Kingdom Park - Sleepy Hollow - Try the Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich!  It's a deliciously sweet option for breakfast or any time of the time.  Warning - it can be a bit messy!
    • Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park - Flame Tree Barbecue - Come hungry to this location with heaping servings of ribs, pork, and chicken on the menu!  Can't decide which to try?  You can try them on the sampling platter!
    • Disney's Hollywood Studios - Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo - Travel to a galaxy far, far away for some of this world bites.  I really enjoy the creative twist on some classic dishes here.  At dinner, you can find a Ronto Wrap added to this fun menu as well!
    • EPCOT - Connections Eatery - I have some picky eaters in my family and this menu has some fan favorites that please everyone including burgers, pizza, and salads!
Brandi, I hope this information is helpful as you get closer and closer every day to your magical visit! You have a friend in us at planDisney and we'd love to see you again if you have any other questions!

    See ya real soon!
