Holly from NJ Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

If using the Mobile Order App for Food in the parks can you have it charged back to your Disney resort room or will your credit card automatically be charged at the time of purchase?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Holly!

There are so many digital vacation planning tools that you can use to make your trip to Walt Disney World Resort even easier and more convenient, and mobile ordering at participating Quick-Service restaurants is one of my favorite recent additions to the My Disney Experience app. You can use your smartphone to order your food and just pick it up at the counter when you're ready! It really is like having a FastPass+ for your lunch.

Right now, the options for payment when using mobile ordering are charging directly to your credit card or redeeming meal entitlements on your Disney Dining Plan. At the moment, it's not possible to charge your meals to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room folio, but I also hope that's an option that becomes available in the future. The My Disney Experience app, including mobile ordering, is constantly evolving to meet the needs of guests, so you never know what's in the works!

    Have a magical day, Holly!

I'm a personal stylist and I live in Texas with my husband and our two rescue animals. We are Disney-obsessed and love enjoying all the magic that's out there especially for grown-ups. In fact, we even opted-out of a tropical honeymoon to spend a blissful week at Walt Disney World instead! I'm thrilled to be on the Disney Parks Moms Panel and I'm excited to share everything I've learned from all of our trips and help you plan a memorable family vacation.  Learn More About Jessica
