When using the Magical Express Service, can you claim your own baggage and bring it on the bus with you? I have read both yes and no answers on the forum and I am wondering which is correct.

I'm not sure why someone would say you couldn't. I know many people who do this regularly with the ME service, and have never had any problems. It might have been a mis-understanding of the question.  We want to be 100% correct here, but admittedly that is impossible -- we are human. ;-)

You definitely can claim your own baggage, as long as you don't put the Magical Express (ME) luggage tag on your luggage when you originally check your luggage at your departure airport.

If you put the (bright yellow) ME tag on your luggage it will not be delivered to the baggage claim area, so you would not be able to claim it.

If you do claim your own luggage, you will need to bring it to the bus and the driver will put the luggage under the bus, and retrieve it for you once you arrive at your resort.

One thing you CAN'T do is use the ME service to transport only your luggage.  You must travel on the ME bus if you want your luggage to be transported by ME.

Sorry for any past confusion.  If you have other questions, you can click here to read many more FAQs about the ME service.
