When using the Magical Express. Is it alright to chose not to use your luggage tags, and keep your luggage with you? I can’t wait the 2-3 hours after I check in to be able to get my luggage.

Hi there, Ada! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for reaching out with your Walt Disney World Resort question!

There are so many wonderful benefits included when you stay at a Disney Resort hotel! Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel get exclusive early access to FastPass+ reservations, are able to spend additional time in the parks with Extra Magic Hours, receive complimentary MagicBands that may be used to streamline their vacation, and complimentary transportation and theme park parking.

Disney’s Magical Express is included in the complimentary transportation and provides Guests with motor coach transportation to and from Orlando International Airport. Included with Disney’s Magical Express is complimentary luggage delivery to your Disney Resort hotel. Guests utilizing this service simply need to attach the pre-delivered luggage tags to their checked bags and Cast Members will collect them for you at Orlando International Airport.

You absolutely are not required to use the luggage delivery service though! I have chosen to keep my checked luggage with me on certain occasions when I know I will require my items. If you do not want your luggage delivered, be sure to not affix the luggage tags to your bags and collect them from baggage claim when you arrive at Orlando International Airport.

I hope this information helps you in continuing to plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
