When using my magic key pass, do I have to wait until I’m in the park each day to add the lightning lane multi pass?

Welcome back to planDisney, Raylene. I am so happy that you've brought us another question. I love when fellow Magic Key holders stop by!

You are correct, when using a Magic Key, Lightning Lane passes can be purchased once you've scanned in to the parks for the day (valid theme park reservation is required). Once you're inside a park, you can use the Disneyland Mobile App to purchase whichever available Lightning Lane you'd like. When I plan to purchase a Lightning Lane, I like to arrive as soon as the park opens, as there are more options for early return times earlier in the day. I hope this helps!

Raylene, as a Magic Key holder, be sure to follow the Disneyland Magic Key Instagram and check the Magic Key Portal in the Disneyland App for the most up-to-date information for Key Holders. There are often special offers, exclusive PhotoPass magic shots, and more! Also, be sure to check the Disney Parks Blog for the seasonal treats before your visit. Visiting at all times of the year and experiencing limited-time offerings is my favorite part about being an annual passholder!
