Hello, if we are using Magic Bands from a previous trip (that are still active according to my Disney Experience app), and before checking into our hotel, will they work to allow us in to the park? I have tickets and reservations for Epcot on Tuesday.

Hey there Jennifer, and a big ol' WELCOME BACK to planDisney! We just love it when our friends stop by to see us again!

And oh my goodness, your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just a week away! Are there visions of Dole Whips dancing in your head? Since you're planning to visit EPCOT on your first day, you can grab one at the Pineapple Promenade booth as part of the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. That would be a sweet start to your vacation!

I think you have a practically perfect arrival plan, Jennifer. Since your MagicBands are still active and your tickets and Disney Park Pass reservations are all squared away, you can just pop those MagicBands on your wrists and hop over to EPCOT first thing. In fact, if you check in to your Resort hotel using your My Disney Experience app, you'll get a text with your room number when it's ready so you can go straight there after enjoying EPCOT for a while. It's so convenient to skip the front desk and get right to the fun!

Jennifer, while you're buttoning up those last-minute plans, be sure to check out planDisney's Panel Extras page. We've got tips on everything from what to pack to what to order at some of Walt Disney World's best dining spots!

I hope this helps you make the most of your Disney days, Jennifer. Have fun, and please come back and see us again real soon!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
