Hi Cheryl,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for sending us your question. I am glad to see you are doing some research and planning in advance, it will make your Walt Disney World Resort vacation even more enjoyable!
Since children under three years old do not require a Theme Park Ticket, they can simply join your party in the
FastPass+ queue, provided he/she meets the height requirements. Because they do not have a physical ticket, FastPass+ cannot be associated with their
My Disney Experience Account. They will not need to scan their MagicBand, but are able to do so if they would like to feel like they are a part of your party.
When choosing your FastPass+ selections, please make sure your child meets the height requirements on the attractions. Unfortunately, if they are not tall enough, they will not be able to experience the attraction with your party. I have had a sad little girl who thought she was tall enough for Space Mountain, only to discover she was just a hair too short. If by chance he/she does not meet the height requirements, ask the Cast Member if
Rider Switch is available. This will allow your party to enjoy the attraction that your younger child cannot experience just yet.
I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, Cheryl. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
Stephanie
