When using a fast pass do you need to use a fingerprint as well as a magic band?

    Hi Natalie,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel, and hello to a fellow NJ Disney fan!

The FastPass+ entrance queues require that you tap your MagicBand or card to the FastPass+ entry touch point. The combination of MagicBand touch point (or tap point) and fingerprint reader can be found at the theme park entrances.

It sounds like you are well on your way to planning your FastPass+ selections for your Walt Disney World visit, and that is great to hear. I always encourage Guests to make FastPass+ selections at the earliest opportunity, and to use the My Disney Experience Mobile App to manage FastPass+ selections throughout their stay at Walt Disney World.

Natalie, as you have questions about your Walt Disney World vacation planning, please do ask away here at Disney Parks Moms Panel. Each of us is here for you and happy to help.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
