    We're using our DVC points for a stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for a week in August. Are we allowed to use the pools in other Disney resorts, more specifically at the Contemporary (we're trying to catch great spots for the MK fireworks)?

    Hi Tiffany! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Pool hopping is a wonderful Disney Vacation Club member perk and available at most Disney Vacation Club and Walt Disney World Resort hotel pools if they are not at capacity.

    However, there are restrictions. Pool hopping is not available at Bay Cove Pool at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Uzima Pool and Samawati Springs Pool at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, Stormalong Bay at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts, the leisure pool at Disney's Beach Club Villas, and the pools at Disney's Art of Animation Resort...all others are fair game!

    You'll need your Member ID Card along with your MagicBand. I suggest checking with the front desk so they can check to see if the pool has reached capacity. Keep in mind there are some blackout dates that apply to this perk.
