Arne from AZ Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are using our DVC membership at Copper Creek and need to plan a 4 day trip with a plan to visit AK and possibly EPCOT and HS with a Sorcerer Pass, with at least one dinner at Topolino's. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Arne, welcome home and welcome back to planDisney! It sounds like you have a trip this upcoming Fall and are looking for some suggestions on how to best explore the theme parks during your visit. Let’s dive in, shall we?

Arne, it sounds like you’re wanting to visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Since you have Sorcerer Passes, the opportunities are endless since you and your family can start at one theme park and use the various modes of transportation to hop to the next park. The world (in this case, Walt Disney World) is your oyster!

If you and your family are thrill seekers, I suggest starting off one of your days with a visit to Animal Kingdom as early theme park entry starts (an exclusive perk for those staying at Disney Resort hotels and other select hotels) to ride Avatar Flight of Passage. This immersive ride makes you feel like you’re riding a banshee within the Avatar universe and is my favorite ride in all of Walt Disney World! From there, you can take an exciting tour on Kilimanjaro Safaris to see animals at the Harambe Wildlife Reserve. Don’t forget to escape the sun and catch some of the live entertainment at Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond! From Animal Kingdom, I recommend taking a bus in the later afternoon to EPCOT. During your visit, the International Food & Wine Festival will be in full swing and you can sip and snack around the world, sampling all the delicious food the festival booths have to offer!

For your next day filled with adventure, I suggest rope dropping Hollywood Studios to battle against the First Order on Star Wars: Ride of the Resistance. Afterwards, you can explore Andy’s backyard in Toy Story Land and ride the family-friendly roller coaster Slinky Dog Dash. And get ready to rock and roll with Kermit and the gang since the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets will open this Summer! After all those thrills, you can take a nice relaxing ride on the Disney Skyliner to Riviera for some fine dining at Topolino’s Terrace!

Now for your last day, it’s time to revisit EPCOT! Sure, you can snack your way through the pavilions, but all good EPCOT Terrans know that a visit to EPCOT isn’t complete without a ride on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! If rope dropping every day might seem tiresome, don’t forget that you can always purchase Lightning Lane Passes to minimize wait times. If you’re staying in a DVC villa during your trip, you’ll also have access to extended evening theme park hours as well!

Arne, I hope these suggestions give you a head start on planning for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World. If you’re looking for more suggestions or making the most of your DVC membership, feel free to contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
