Using the disneyland website, I try to make reservations for a vacation at a Disneyland hotel but when I click on the link to search hotels for my dates of May 3-7 it shows me only one hotel to choose to pick from. Am I doing something wrong?

    Hello George,

Thanks for stopping by to see us here at planDisney, and thanks for your question!

It's wonderful to hear you're planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort. It's even more wonderful to hear you're planning a stay at one of the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort. What I always love about a stay at one of the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort is the easy walkability to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

My tip for you would be to use the "Book Your vacation Package" feature on the Disneyland Resort website to begin your search for your Resort Hotel stay.

When you use the "Discover Disneyland Resort Hotels" search feature, you can search for availability across each of the Disneyland Resort Hotels. Simply enter the information about your check in and check out dates, as well as the information about the number of adults and children in your travel party. You should see a list of the Resort Hotels and some information about the rates for a stay.

When you click and select a specific Resort Hotel, you should see more detailed information about room sections and rates. In the event that a particular room type is not available based on your plans, you should see a prompt similar to "This room type is unavailable for the dates, party size or offer selected."

The booking process will guide you through the steps to reserve your Resort Hotel stay and add theme park tickets if you'd like to purchase them.

One additional tip I'll offer is to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar before starting your booking as a way to see which theme parks have reservation availability to select for the days you'd like to visit during your stay. You'll also want to be sure to then make your theme park reservations with the Theme Park Reservations system after you purchase theme park tickets.

I hope this information is helpful to you, George. If you'd like additional assistance with making your reservations for your stay, or if you have questions about hotel reservations, you can call the Disneyland Resort Hotel Reservations team at (714) 956-6425. A Cast Member will be happy to help you with your reservations.

George, enjoy all the magic of your visit to the Disneyland Resort.

Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today.

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
