When using Disney Transportation from resort if we have a time to be location will they get us there on time for example we was wanting to do Character Dining with Mickey at one of the other hotels in the morning how do we make sure we get there on time

    Hi Candy,

Walt Disney World is twice the size of Manhattan so transportation around the resort is very important.

When planning your meals, as well as trying to get to parks before they open, allow at least a half hour for travel when going directly from a resort to a park. Allow one hour for travel if you need to transfer at a hub such as the Magic Kingdom.

    Here's an example:

If you are departing your hotel and going to a theme park, allow a half hour.

If you are traveling from a resort such as Pop Century to the Contemporary Resort to have breakfast with Mickey, then you should plan on an hour of travel time. You'll need to first travel to the Magic Kingdom, then walk or monorail over to the Contemporary Resort.

These are general guidelines for WDW transportation and we can help further if you let us know your resort and the specific restaurants in which you'll be dining. Happy planning!
