Hey, Rich and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. This is a fantastic question because it would be very helpful for big parties to be able to see each others location. Mickey added a lot of spices into the
My Experience Mobile app but has left this particular ingredient out. Be sure to check out
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering to help save time in food lines. We order through the app, go to the restaurant, find a table, and pick up our food. Easy Peasy.
While many items such as
FastPass+ selections,
hotel and
dining reservations, and
Disney PhotoPass Service photos are connected to your
My Disney Experience account, there is no GPS tracking of Guests who have the app on or running in the background. Even
MagicBand radio-frequency technology is not used for tracking Guest movements. I suggest using a third party mobile app to keep tabs on the group and stay connected. We are iPhone users and utilize the "Find Friends" app to keep track of the location of our children when they are off exploring Neverland. I am sure there are similar services with other smartphone devices.
Disney Dad Tip: When we do not have identical itineraries, we choose a location at each theme park to meet up at specific times of the day. A suggestion is to use one of your FastPass+ selections or a meal as the best time to "check in" with each other if your plans are not all together.
Rich, I hope this helps you have a
Fantasmic! experience at the place "where dreams come true."
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
