If I am using the Disney Dining Plan, can I load my Visa Rewards points on my band to use for gratuity on property?

    Hi Katie!

Just a few more months until your Walt Disney World vacation!  I'm so excited for you!

I am a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plan.  The convenience of having all of our dining taken care of before our vacation is a huge stress relief for me and answering your questions made me remember that I need to pay for my plan for my upcoming vacation, so thank you!

I usually pay for my vacations using Disney Gift Cards and the Disney Chase Visa Rewards Dollars.  You can't preload your account with money, but what you can do it charge the gratuities and/or anything else to your MagicBand and then pay it off using your Rewards Card at the front desk of your Walt Disney World Resort hotel front desk.  I like doing it this way so I see all of my charges at once as well as my running total and pay it off each night.  As long as use your Rewards Dollars to pay off your room charges the night before check-out, you'll be just fine.

Please stop back by if you have any additional questions or if you'd like restaurant recommendations!

    Have a magical day!
