    If using the Disney Deluxe dining plan, how do i book a character dining at available restaurants? Will the search specify if character dining is available?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Antoinette!

    Walt Disney World Resort offers some magical character dining experiences that are sure to please every member of the family. You can begin making your character dining reservations 180 days in advance either online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. Keep in mind that not all restaurants participate in a Disney dining plan, so it is a good idea to refer to the 2016 Deluxe Dining Plan specifics or search online with a filter to only show character dining experiences that participate in the 2016 Deluxe Disney dining plan. Even though you plan to use a plan, a credit card must be provided at the time you make the reservation, but will only be charged if you do not show or cancel after the cancellation period. When you dine at the restaurant, simply let the Cast Member know which Disney dining plan you have purchased, and they will apply your table credits to your bill.
