Using Disney bus from Orlando airport to Port Canaveral. Is it true that if anyone on the bus tests positive for Covid at the port all passengers on the bus will not be allowed to board the ship?

    Ahoy Stanley!

Welcome to planDisney! I hope you are getting excited about your upcoming cruise with Captain Mickey. My family loves to track the number of days left until our Disney sailing with the countdown calendar on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Hope you are doing the same!

For transportation from Orlando International Airport to Port Canaveral, you can contact Disney Cruise Line to add ground transportation for an additional fee. These buses will be your magic carpet to whisk you and your luggage to Port Canaveral. Reservations are required, so book those as soon as you are certain that is the way you'd like to travel. My family really loves the convenience, and I appreciate not having to drive and letting someone else be in charge of getting us there!

I understand your concern about having someone on your motorcoach negatively influence your cruise plans. Let me assure you that if Guests arriving at the port by motorcoach test positive upon arrival, only the Guest and their immediate travel party will be denied boarding. Since face coverings are required on the Disney Cruise Line ground transportation, the remaining Guests who arrived on that same bus will be able to sail so long as they are cleared to sail by Inspire Diagnostics.

I hope this is a relief for you and makes you more confident about using Disney Cruise Line transfers. I have always relied on this ground transportation to get to Port Canaveral from either the Orlando International Airport or a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, and this policy ensures that we can continue to count on this service.

Stanley, wishing you a magical voyage! Cruise back by if you have any other questions!

    Happy Sailing!
