When using the dining plan, will a 10 year old eat off the kids menu or the adult menu? Is there any flexibility to choose something off the kids menu at one restaurant and the regular menu at another?

    Hi Krista,

Because you have a 10 year old, your child is considered an adult on the dining plan.  He/she will be automatically given the adult menu.  However, if there is nothing appealing on the menu, just ask your server if you can look at the children's menu.  Often, cast members will bring out larger portions of kid friendly entrees for children aged 10 and up who request something off of this menu.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
