When using the dining plan table service credits, do you get your money's worth at a lunch meal versus a dinner meal? Sometimes the menus have the same items listed but I don't know if the portions are the same.

Hi Jennifer! My family generally prefers to eat our larger meal at lunch and a lighter one in the evening so we have tried many of the restaurants at Disney to see how it differs. I would say overall there is not a difference in most locations between dinner and lunch. Menus might be slightly different so you can check on line to make sure you will be able to order what you are looking for at a specific location. Be Our Guest is one such spot that has a completely different menu at lunch then dinner.

The Teppan Edo restaurant in the Japan pavilion will show a bit of a difference between lunch and dinner but you will always get enough food to feed an army. I have never gone away hungry from either meal. Some of the Disney restaurants are also only open for the evening dinner meal such as Yachtsman Steakhouse and the Flying Fish. You will find most of the resort spots to be dinner spots since many guests are in the parks for lunch. The park restaurants know that reservations are difficult to get so they can't change much between their lunch offerings and dinner options. This way they can make as many guests as happy as possible.

Eat big or small whenever it suits your family best. There are so many great choices and I don't think you will ever be disappointed!
