Using the dining plan in Sept. 2 Adults 1 Child. Can a child order from the "adult" menu at quick service restaurants - is there a difference between child and adult at quick service? I know at table service he will order from the child's menu

    Hi, Mary!

The Disney Dining Plan "officially" states that a child must order from the Child's Menu when there is one available. (Read HERE on page 2.)  That said, your credits for Quick Service are only tracked as Quick Service, they are not separated by Adult/Child.  The Quick Service Kid's Menus are great.  They offer 2 sides, with a variety of choices usually including apple sauce, cookie, french fries, grapes, or carrots, so lots of choices!

Credits for Table Service ARE tracked for both Child and Adult, and you will see your remaining credits printed on your receipts.

I hope this helps!  Have a great time in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
