We will be using a dining plan in 2/2012. How do I plan my reservations so far in advance when the 2012 DP participating restaurants list won't be out until 33 days before our trip? Blogs say to have reservations 90 days in advance!

Hi ya, Heather! I've got a couple nuggets for you - knowledge nuggets; not gold nuggets. I don't want Stinky Pete getting in the way.

I'd highly recommend you make your dining reservations 180 days in advance. You'll have the best luck getting what you want the farther you plan out.

The second nugget is in regards to restaurants participating in the Dining plan. While there are some occasional variations in participating restaurants, the list tends to be suspiciously similar year to year. I'd plan on most restaurants following suite next year with what they did this year.
