    We will be using a dining plan, but I see where we will need a credit card to hold our spot at the Aloha Dinner Show at the Polynesian Resort. How much of a hold is placed on your credit card to book a reservation here? thanks,

    Hi Brooklyn.

    I'm glad that you visited the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

    When using the Disney Dining Plan to enjoy one of the fabulous Dinner Shows such as the Spirit of Aloha at Disney's Polynesian Resort, there is no amount actually charged to your card. The card information is taken simply such that if you do not show up for the show that you reserve, a charge per person will be charged to your card that was placed on file.

    I'd recommend that you call in to Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE to make your Dinner Show reservations, speaking with a Cast Member to have your Disney Dining Plan and Magic Your Way Vacation reservation properly associated with the booking. Upon arrival and check-in at the show, you'll be asked to confirm that you'll be using your Disney Dining Plan and your Key to the World Card or MagicBand will be used to confirm the plan and the appropriate credits (2 Table Service per person) will be deducted.

    At the time of your reservation, the Disney Dining Cast Member will confirm the 'credit card guarantee' and cancellation policies for Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show.
