We will be using the dining plan but looking to do at least one out of pocket table service. Can we pay at the restaurant with a credit card or does it have to charge back to our room? Can Disney gift cards be used at restaurants? Or on master hotel bill?

    Hello Jenn!
One of the things I love about vacationing at the Walt Disney World Resort is the many ways to handle finances. It seems like the answer to most questions is- Yes!  So, can you pay with a credit card? Yes! Can you charge dining costs to your room? Yes! Can you use Disney Gift Cards at the restaurants? Yes! Can you use Disney Gift Cards to pay your room charge balance? Yes!  Don't you just love the word yes? Yes!

For us, our favorite way to handle dining costs that are not covered by our Disney Dining Plan is to charge it back to our room. We then use Disney Gift Cards that we saved throughout the year to pay our balance the night before we check out.  Easy!

If you have more planning questions, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel- we love to help!

    See ya real soon!

I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
