Hello, Jennifer!
Fourteen days in Walt Disney World, on the Deluxe Dining Plan, with Annual Passes to boot...what a fantastic trip you have planned!
First, be sure to use your Disney Vacation Club discount when purchasing your Annual Passes; you'll save a substantial amount of money by doing so. (Just wanted to be sure that you knew this...)
According to information on Walt Disney World.com,
listed under Walt Disney World Passholder Benefits, "Benefits include a 20% discount (excludes applicable tax and gratuity) on all food and beverages at participating Resort hotel and Theme park restaurants and member-only invitations to special Food and Wine events, winemaker dinners and celebrity chef dinners, plus much more."
Keep in mind that the card can be used for many of those items that are not covered on your Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. However, the Tables in Wonderland discount cannot be used to reduce the
cost of your Deluxe Dining Plan. The Cast Member who explained this to me stated that the discount has to be applied to a specific bill at a restaurant, whereas the charge of the Dining Plan is not linked to a restaurant at all.
If you think you'll purchase additional food items, beyond your Deluxe Dining Plan, then I highly recommend membership in Tables in Wonderland.
I hope this helps you make your decision! Please send me any additional questions you may have about your fabulous, upcoming trip to Walt Disney World!
