Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jacalyn! You’re making me so hungry just thinking about The Edison! I ate there this month on it’s Grand Opening Night and I couldn’t decide what to order! Since it was a very chilly night in Orlando, I got the Tomato Soup and Crusty Grilled Cheese. It was the tastiest version I had ever had: thoughtfully spiced, a medley of cheeses and the essential pickle on the side, skewered right through. I topped it off with a bubbly cocktail to toast my buddies and we had a beautiful night!
Unfortunately, you aren’t allowed to split a meal with a
Table Service Credit. If you aren’t on the Deluxe Dining Plan and have Quick Service credits available, you can split a QS credit, like my family does. I will use the new Mobile Order feature and share an order of Corn Dog Nuggets at Casey’s Corner with my kids. As for dining at the Edison right now, that will have to be out of pocket. The restaurant is not yet accepting the Disney Dining Plan, but you can check the status at any time on
The Edison page of Disneyworld.Disney.go.com. You’ll see a set of type in the light blue box that stipulates what kinds of plans are accepted as well as the menu right below. If you visit for lunch, you will find they accept
Tables in Wonderland and the Annual Passholder discount, but these are not available at dinner. I tried to ask for them! But I highly recommend the restaurant for its turn of the century steampunk feel, the gourmet menu options as well as the handcrafted cocktails for the adults.
If I can recommend any other restaurants that might fit your palate, please let me know. I’m hEAR and at your service! ~ Lindsey P
