    We are using the DDP and I am making reservations for our meals. The Rainforest Cafe at DD is already booked every night of our early May stay. How likely is it that a spot will open up for us and how do I need to check for an opening for a dinner spot?

    Hi Beth,

    People cancel their dining reservations for several reasons all the time, and the best way for you to grab one of them is to call (407)WDW-DINE.  You can call every day, several times a day if you wanted to check.  I know that Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney does take walk ups, but usually it's a long wait. 

    You may want to call the number I've provided to see if there are any dinner reservations available for the Rainforest Cafe located at Animal Kingdom.  If you get a reservation there you can actually spend the day at Animal Kingdom and not worry about transportation to get to your dinner.

    Good luck getting that booking!  Have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World!
