Hello, Robyn! Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question.
It won't be long until you arrive in Florida and unlock a magical vacation.
A Land and Sea vacation is a great idea! It’s the perfect combination of exciting theme park thrills and relaxing ocean activities. Plus, it’s always a little easier to say goodbye to Captain Minnie when you know your vacation will continue on land.
Parking at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is an overnight benefit for Guests staying at the resort. Unfortunately, you cannot leave your car at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort while on your cruise. However, parking is available at
Port Canaveral, which may be your best bet. This option also provides you with some flexibility to arrive at the port at your convenience.
I’ve driven to Port Canaveral many times. The journey takes a little over an hour to reach the terminal. As you get closer to Port Canaveral, you’ll see signs directing you to the ship. Before entering the parking garage, you’ll drop off your checked luggage to be safely transported onto the ship. Parking rates are based on the length of your cruise and are paid before entering the garage. For the latest cost, refer to the
"Arrival Information" section on the Port Canaveral page on the Disney Cruise Line website.
If you decide to leave your car at home and take
Disney transfers, you’ll receive detailed information via email a couple of days before you set sail explaining what to do with your luggage and the departure time of the motorcoach. At the end of your cruise, retrieve your luggage from the terminal and go through U.S. Customs. You’ll need to disembark the ship no later than 7:45 a.m. as the motorcoach departs promptly at 9:00 a.m. for the resorts. Rest assured, a Disney Cruise Line representative will be on hand to direct you to the designated area.
Please cruise back to planDisney with any additional questions. Safe travels!
SEAS the adventure!
