    when using 1daytickets with military discount, does the person with the military discount need to be present. What is they were bought as a gift?

    I am so excited to hear that you were gifted tickets and are planning on visiting Disneyland Resort soon. I have good news for you! If your tickets are standard park tickets that were purchased on a military base, the military member does not need to be present to activate these tickets. You are welcome to use them without needing a military ID. The Disney Military Promotional Tickets that are specialty 3-day and 4-day Park Hopper tickets are the ticket type that requires the military member to present a military ID to activate them and must also be using one of the tickets.

    Since these were purchased on base and not directly through Disneyland, I want to make sure you know that theme park tickets also require theme park ticket reservations for the day and park you want to visit. I would make sure you have linked these tickets to your Disney account and make theme park ticket reservations as soon as possible. Once you have done this, you should be good to go. You can do this through the Disneyland app or the Disneyland website.
