Hi there, Rebecca, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you'll be arriving at the Most Magical Place on Earth so soon, and you must be absolutely thrilled! Thank you for stopping by planDisney with this great question. My Panelist pals and I are here and happy to help our fellow Guests, just like you!
Rebecca, you'll be happy to know that you do not need to arrive as one group when taking advantage of the
2025 Water Park Benefit for
Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guests. My family recently got to try this out, so I can speak from experience. Since there were seven Guests checking into our room at
Beach Club Villas, we drove to
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park in two separate cars. One car beat the other by a few minutes, and our family entered as two separate parties with no problem. We each scanned our
MagicBand+, which showed our valid park admission.
Now that I'm thinking about it, my kids actually decided not to wear a MagicBand+ that day, so I was able to scan them in using my smartphone, since I also use
Disney MagicMobile Service. If you haven't tried MagicMobile yet, you definitely should! It's a great backup plan in case you forget your MagicBand+ or if you have kiddos like mine who sometimes prefer not to wear it. You can use it for any profile you manage in My Disney Experience, and it's just like saving a credit card or boarding pass to the wallet of your phone.
Back to the water parks! I recommend stopping by your Disney Resorts Collection hotel before heading to the water park to drop your suitcases with
Bell Services. Suitcases aren't allowed on
Walt Disney World Resort transportation, and there's nowhere to store them at the water park. Bell Services will gladly hold them for you until you return. It would be helpful to have a smaller bag handy for the water park that includes your swimsuit and other essentials like goggles, sunscreen, water shoes, and sunglasses. Be sure to check with your hotel to determine the best way to get to the water park. I found that driving was easiest for our family, but if you don't have a car, you can reach the water parks via bus or a ride-share service. There are convenient changing rooms at the water parks, as well as lockers to securely store your belongings.
Rebecca, I hope you have the very best time during your stay! Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See ya real soon!
