Using DAS for my son. Should we get a return time for ROTR immediately? Since the return time will be late day can we even book more times for other rides?

    Hi there, Jaynee!

I’m so happy to hEAR you’re planning on visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth! My family also uses the Disability Access Service (DAS); it honestly makes a huge difference in our day as my Mouseketeer has difficulty waiting in a traditional queue.

Jaynee, for the DAS pass, you can have one return time at a time unless pre-registering. Then, you can book up to 2 one-hour return windows for select experiences using the new DAS Advance planning option. In addition, you’re welcome to pre-register for DAS virtually with a Cast Member using a live video chat as soon as 30 days in advance of a park visit and no less than two days before arrival.

Although I did not pre-register for the 2 one-hour return windows because there weren't any available earlier on in the day for us during my family's vacation, I did pre-register via video chat for DAS. It was easy and the Cast Member told me I could now select return times on the My Disney Experience Mobile app after entering a theme park. Once entering Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I opened up My Disney Experience Mobile App, tapped on the three horizontal lines located on the bottom right corner, and then selected the DAS option. You will be able to see all the available return times for select attractions here. And the return times you see here will be based on the current wait of the attraction. This means if Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance has a 60-minute wait, you would be able to check-in for the attraction in 60 minutes. While you wait for your return time to arrive, you can enjoy other attractions, grab a snack, take family pictures, etc.

This was the case for my family, and it worked out great. After we scanned in to enter the attraction we had a return time for, I could use the My Disney Experience Mobile app, tap the three horizontal lines, then the DAS option, and choose the next attraction for my family.

If you have any questions about this, please don’t hesitate to call Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or send an email to disability.services@disneyparks.com.

    Have an enchanting visit, Jaynee!
