    Using assistance pass for autistic son. Will we be able to get a return time when visiting characters or will we have to wait in the standby line? Thank you panel.

    Hello Jaynee,

    As a parent of a son on the Autism spectrum, I too understand the importance of the Disability Access Service Card (DAS). Although the Meet 'N' Greets are not an attraction, they should have a Cast Member present, and all Cast Members are trained to understand how the Disability Access Service Card works. My suggestion is to speak with the Cast Member upon arrival at the Meet 'N' Greet and request a return time for your son. This may be available on an individual basis. 

    I would also suggest you speak with the Cast Member at Guest Relations when you are issued your Disability Access Service Card regarding your concern for your son when waiting for characters. There is a link on the Disney Parks website called Cognitive Disabilities that I find helpful as well.
