When using the app or my Apple Watch to get into the parks I have several cards linked. How do I select which one is set up for express mode? Can I change the order they appear in?

Hi, Alyssa! Thanks for dropping by to see your pals at planDisney!

Oh my purple dragons, your Walt Disney World Resort vacation starts this SUNDAY! That's only three days away! I hope the days fly by and that you'll be tapping your digital pass at the theme park entrance before you know it!

Alyssa, I got a chance to use Disney MagicMobile service on my iPhone for the first time this past weekend, and it was so much fun! I have tickets for myself and my son saved there, so I'm happy to help you organize yours.

If you hop into your Apple Wallet you'll see your Disney MagicMobile passes stacked on the first page. Click on one of them, and they should populate in the order in which they're saved. Swipe over to see the next one, and the next one, and so on. Now, go back to that first pass (mine has the adorable Figment on it!). See the black circle with white dots in the top right corner of your screen? Click there to open the details about that pass. Scroll down a bit and you'll see a toggle button to turn on Express Mode for it. Just below that, you'll see a list of "Passes in Group." Clicking on "Edit" brings up an "Edit Group" screen where you can delete passes or change the order by pressing the three horizontal lines to the right and moving the pass up and down. That way, you can prioritize which pass comes up first for Express Mode.

Full disclosure: My pass didn't scan with my Apple Watch when I tried it last weekend, so I ended up just using my phone sometimes and my MagicBand other times. If yours does work, the order you place your passes in on the phone should be the same on the watch.

It's always interesting to try something new, isn't it? I hope you find Disney MagicMobile to be a fun way to enter the theme parks, Alyssa! Have a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and please come see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
