Hi there, Tina! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I really love talking about cake so I'm glad you asked this question!
The personal cakes in small treasure chests are no longer offered, but you still have other
birthday cake options available. You can order a Mickey or Minnie Mouse-shaped cake, a princess cake, or a round cake and have it delivered to select table service restaurants. You can even choose from a variety of cake, filling, and frosting flavors and personalize it with your own message. To order one of these scrumptious cakes, you must call (714) 781-3463 at least three days in advance or earlier (up to 60 days in advance).
If you are looking for a smaller dessert option instead of a full cake, try one of these delectable eateries:
-
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe has a delightful selection of cookies, pastries, and other desserts like whoopie pies, cheesecake, and eclairs!
-If an ice cream sundae is your child's birthday wish this year, then head to
Clarabelle's Hand Scooped Ice Cream. They have just about everything here, including several sundaes that include a "kitchen sink!"
-If cake simply must be on the menu for your birthday boy or girl, then
Sprinkles has you covered! They have a variety of flavors to choose from every day and each one is a cake-lovers dream. I'm particularly fond of the chocolate marshmallow cupcake because it reminds me a bit of a s'more. Yum!
I hope your child has a fabulous birthday at the Disneyland Resort!
