Hi! I am used to traveling to Disney World with my family but this time I am flying down for our girls weekend! What is your favorite place to enjoy an adult beverage?

    Hi Heather,

What fun! I love grown-up weekends at Walt Disney World.

I can't narrow my favorite adult beverage spot down to just one, but here are a few of my  top spots:
    • Outer Rim, Contemporary Resort -- Tucked behind Chef Mickey's, this spot has comfy sofas and a view over the marina toward Wilderness Lodge. The lounges at any of the deluxe resorts are great, but this is the one we frequent most often. The Tambu Lounge at the Polynesian is a close second.
    • The bar at Raglan Road, Downtown Disney -- The bartenders here are always exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. It tends not to be as crowded as the similar pub at Rose and Crown in Epcot.
    • Territory Lounge, Wilderness Lodge -- Again, a comfy environment and some of the best bar snacks at Walt Disney World. Make sure to try the housemade potato chips and the Northwest meat and cheese sampler.
    • La Cava del Tequila, Mexico pavilion, Epcot -- If you like margaritas and tequila, this is the place.
    • Tutto Gusto wine bar, Italy pavilion, Epcot -- Choose wine flights or something from the full bar menu in this dark, intimate space. You can order food from the bar menu or get anything from the menu at Tutto Italia next door.

I haven't been there yet, but I'm eager to try the new Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge at Hollywood Studios.
And don't overlook the pool bars at the resorts. A friend swears by the Mai Tais at the Polynesian pool bar, and I'm partial to the margarita at Petals Pool Bar at Pop Century.

I'm sure you and your friends will have a great time together, wherever you choose for your libations. Please let me know if I can do anything else to help. As you can tell, I've done a bit of research on this topic.

    Cheers!

    Wilma
