Thank you for visiting us here at planDisney, Patricia!
It sounds like you have plans to visit
The Happiest Place On Earth. How exciting! You may have heard rumors that you need to bring identification with you, especially if you're a non-resident. However, this isn't entirely true. You don't need to show any form of ID to enter the park or purchase a regular admission ticket. However, if you're buying a S
outhern California Resident ticket, you will need to provide proof of residency.
So, what's the difference between a regular admission ticket and a SoCal Resident ticket? The Southern California Resident ticket offer is a special 3-day deal that's only available to California and Baja California residents living in zip codes 90000-93599. The tickets are significantly cheaper than regular admission tickets but can only be used on weekdays and must all be used by May 25, 2023. In order to purchase a SoCal Resident ticket, you will need to show proof of residency, such as a valid California driver's license or original passport.
Unfortunately, Mexican Consular IDs are not accepted as valid identification for entry into Disneyland.
Non-United States Residents will need to bring a passport for admission with the SoCal resident pass and for any alcoholic beverages purchased during your visit.
But Patricia, if you're not a California resident, you can still purchase a regular admission ticket to Disneyland without showing any form of ID. This ticket will allow you to enter the park on any day, without any restrictions.
I hope this information was helpful, Patricia, and that your upcoming visit to the Disneyland Resort is as magical as you are dreaming it to be. If I misunderstood you, or if you still have any follow-up questions, please feel free to
message me again. I’m here to help!
You've got a friend in me,
