Hi Melissa,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for sending us your great question.
Disney's Magical Express Service is a great way to travel between Orlando International Airport and Walt Disney World Resort.
If you are currently booked on Disney's Magical Express you will receive your package a few weeks prior to your departure. Inside you will find your Magical Express Reservation and yellow luggage tags. These tags will need to be put on your checked luggage that you would like taken directly to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. With these yellow luggage tags, you will not need to claim your baggage at Orlando International Airport, simply head to the Magical Express and your luggage will be delivered to your Resort Hotel room a few hours later.
For your departure, you will receive a Transportation notice on your Resort Hotel Room door the day prior to your departure. This will contain your pick up time and location. Pick up times are between three and four hours prior to your flight time, depending on the airline and time of year.
Resort Airline-Check In is a service for certain airlines where guests can check-in for their flights (including their baggage) at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. This service is only available until 12:00 pm, so if this is available to your party and something that you would like to use, make sure to head to the desk prior to 12:00 pm. A Cast Member will check your party in for your flights and provide you with boarding passes and luggage tags, so you will be able to skip the line at Orlando International Airport and head straight to security. If you are not using Resort Airline Check-In you will be responsible to bring your luggage when boarding Disney's Magical Express.
