We used to be annual pass holders. When will annual passes be available again?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Adam!

You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!  Thanks for stopping by with your question today.  If you ask me, nothing makes you feel like an official Mouseketeer quite like being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder.  With access to a year of magic in Walt Disney World theme parks, great dining and shopping discounts, and much more, it's definitely the club that's made for you and me (M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E! Sorry if that song is stuck in your head for the rest of the day...).  Let me share a few details about your current Annual Pass options to help you decide if becoming an Annual Passholder is the right choice for you.

While sales of most new Walt Disney World Annual Passes have been paused for the time being, as a Florida resident, there's still an Annual Pass available to you for purchase –– the Disney Pixie Dust Pass. However, while this Pass offers all the same, great benefits as other Annual Pass tiers at a great price point, it does have the highest number of blockout dates of any Pass, so be sure to check out the Blockout Calendar to make sure it's a good fit for your needs.  While we don't know yet when other Annual Pass options might return, I can tell you that once they become available, you should be able to upgrade your Pixie Dust Pass to a different Pass tier, if you prefer.  Also, keep in mind that once it's time to renew your Pass, you'll have the option to renew into any Walt Disney World Annual Pass tier –– this means if you purchase a Pixie Dust Pass this year and prefer to upgrade to an Incredi Pass next year, you currently have the option to do so.  For all Annual Pass news and updates (including when sales of all Annual Pass tiers might be returning), be sure to keep an eye on Disney Parks Blog for all the latest details.

Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, Adam.  I hope this helped to answer your question, but if you need more information or additional tips for planning your next Walt Disney World Resort visit, I please feel free to stop by again –– we're always here to help!
