MagicBand+ pairing with Smart Phone; Minnie Mouse band

    I used my account and profile to make reservations and set up magic bands for myself and my husband. How do I set up his phone/app so he can see all the details and use his phone and magic band for room entry? Thank you!

    Hiya. Amanda! Your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth is just around the riverbend! You must be getting so excited! I'm glad you came to planDisney with this question so you and your husband can enjoy all the adventures with the My Disney Experience app as a guide.

    With your technology question, I am going to try my best to help navigate these waters. If we find there are things we never knew, we never knew, we can talk about other resources.

    If you used your account to make reservations and set up the MagicBand+ for you and your husband, you may have added him to your Family & Friends as a Guest to be managed by you. To check, open your My Disney Experience app and select the menu button (the "≡" on the bottom). Select "Profile" and click on the tab for "Family & Friends List." If under your husband's name, it says "Plans Managed by Me," these steps should work:

    1. Click on his name and scroll to the section "Connect with This Guest."
    2. If he has already created his own My Disney Experience account, select "Send Email" and enter the email address he uses for this account. If he does not have an account, he can easily create one.
    3. Once you have sent the request, have him open the email and accept the invitation.
    4. You should then be linked and all the plans you made and tickets assigned to him should be transferred to his account, which you can both see through your connection as Family & Friends. 
    If he wants to use his phone to open your resort room door and for entry into the theme parks, he can set up Disney MagicMobile service. To do this, open his app; go to the menu (≡); and scroll to the section called "Account." Select "Set Up MagicMobile Entry" and follow the prompts to add this to his phone's digital wallet.

    If you have any issues, as I said, there are other resources. (Whew!) You can call the My Disney Experience Help Center for support to walk you through the steps and any challenges.
