    We used to be able to select a top pick for a ride and put it at the top of the tip board to make a genie plus selection. It was easier than going through an alphabetical list. It’s not there anymore. Does it only show up after buying genie plus?

    Hi, Kelly thanks so much for coming to planDisney with your questions. I can definitely help navigate the Tip Board. I personally love Genie+. 

    My Disney Experience App is my go-to tool for all things park planning. I use it before, during, and after my visits. Before I use it to set up my Genie selections for classic attractions, entertainment, and dining. During our visit, I use it most to find our next lighting lane and always recommend using Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering to experience a shorter wait for your meal or snack. After is always at home checking on all the attraction photos and Disney PhotoPass Service pictures.

    When making your selections for Genie you should start by linking your tickets and make sure to use the Theme Park Reservations system. Once they show you can go to the Disney Genie Service and "Summon Disney Genie." There will be two tabs that say "Tip Board" and the other will say "My Day." From there you can "Change Day" to your park day reservation then tap on "Get Started Now." Now you are ready to select your favorite attractions, use the free version of Genie to create a custom park day. Once you have that all set up, on your actual Disney day when you buy Genie+ you will have that "Tip Board" lined with your favorites towards the top. Followed by anything available in alphabetical order following your selections. Each attraction will show the wait time and if a return time is available for the Lighting Lane option.
